  • How much does it cost me to find a job?

    For the applicant / candidate, finding a job from us costs nothing. The costs for this service are covered by the employer. The applicant must cover only the expenses for the preparation of the documents for obtaining the visa, as well as the travel expenses to Germany. Sometimes even these expenses are partially covered by the employer, but this is a personal decision of the employer.

  • Do I need to know German? If so, what level?

    In some professions, communication in English is common. However, depending on the requirements of the workplace and the employer, knowledge of the German language may be required. This knowledge is necessary to communicate with the employer. A1 level of the language would be necessary. You can reach this level very quickly by taking a German language course in your country before you arrive in Germany.

  • Do I need to have previous work experience?

    Generally it is always good when someone has work experience. However, most jobs do not require any previous work experience. The most important thing is the readiness and willingness of the employee to learn new skills and to perform different tasks.

    Currently in Germany, the gross salary for a full-time job (40 hours/week) is €2,079/month, or €12/hour. Overtime pay, annual leave pay or Christmas pay, as well as other allowances may be added to the above basic salary.

  • What is the net salary after insurance and taxes are deducted from the gross salary?

  • Do I need a work visa to work in Germany? If so, how can I get it?

    If you want to work in Germany on a regular basis, then you will need a visa or work permit. For this you have to apply at the German embassy in your country. We are happy to help you throughout this process, not only with information but also concretely.

  • Can I change employer when I don't like the job?

    The residence and work permit in Germany is linked to the specific employer who has offered the employment contract. This means that you get a residence permit to work for a specific employer. If you want to change the employer, then you must undertake the change and adaptation of the residence permit yourself. This takes time and you have to find a new employer yourself.
